Jeffrey Craig Berg

Father, husband, writer, raconteur, programmer, procrastinator, scotch drinker, traveler, cheap spendthrift, vulgarian, low-brow intellectual, wit, doughy version of his teenage self, reserved in his opinions, willing to say anything to anyone, in over his head, swimming against the current, smarter than the average bear, uninformed, self-aware ignoramus, linguaphile, logorrheic, covetous, wannabe ascetic, hard-boiled sentimentalist.

I’m an unusual bird.  I have a B.A. in English from Columbia and an M.F.A. in Writing, also from Columbia, but I have been working in IT for the past 15 years.  How that came to be a long story that I will probably relate in one of these blog pages.  Since being laid off from my position as a Help Desk manager in February, I have been doing consulting, programming mostly, and working to market my novel, Millers’ Tales.
